What We Believe

 

1. We believe that the Bible is the inspired, inerrant, Word of God. (II Tim.3:16 - 17; II Peter 1:20)

2. We believe God is the Creator and Sustainer of the universe. (Gen. 1; John 1:3; Col.1:16; Heb.1:3)

3. We believe in virgin birth of Jesus concieved by the Holy Ghost as the Son of God (Matt.1:20)

4. We believe Jesus is both Lord and Christ, to the glory of God the Father (Acts 2:36; Phil.2:9-11)

5. We believe that whosoever confess with their mouth that Jesus is Lord and believes in their heart God raised Him from the dead shall be saved.

(Rom. 10:9-10; John 1:12)

6. We believe that the Holy Spirit is sent by Jesus to indwell, to empower, to teach, to guide, and to comfort believers. (John 14:26; 16:13; Rom.8:11;

I Cor.3:16; 6:19)

7. We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ death, burial, and resurrection from the dead provided salvation for everyone who believes.( John 14:6;

 Acts 4:12;Rom. 6:23; I Cor.15:1-4)

8. We believe in the imminent return of Jesus Christ our Lord, (John 14:1-3; Acts 1:9-11)

9. We believe in water baptism by immersion as an act of obedience, and that it reflects the death, burial, and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ.(Matt.3:13-15; 28:19)

10. We believe in observing the Lord's Supper every Sunday( Matt.26:26 - 28; I Cor.11:23 - 26)
